April 2019 Missions Update

Dearly beloved
We thank you and praise God for what He is doing in our time to make His name famous.
April for us, began on a praise platform –thanking God for how far He has brought us by His mighty hands and blessing us with precious gifts of people like you.
The first weekend of April played host to our monthly mission workers’ meeting at Ogbakoko. It hosted workers from our various mission fields including the new location in Ekor. The meeting also had all our
scholarship students and some money marriage victims in attendance.
We also had some of our staff in April, attend different equipping missions conferences and trainings inWarri -4th-7th, Ibadan 8th-12th (Joshua Alade), Lagos -11th-13th (Sylvanus Indah), and Owerri – 25th-27th (Akonam Richards). The Owerri meeting had Uncle Tim Olonade as our resource person. Three key leaders from the Adagom refugee Rhema Care Chapel were part of the training in Owerri.
We had a baptismal service at Trinity Comprehensive College, Amana, where Ignatius Imbush – a 3rd generation missionary, provides pastoral care in the school. Three students and one of his teachers were baptized on the 11th of April.
Our networking relationships with mission-minded individuals and corporate bodies gave rise to visits at
the Refugee Camp where lives are being changed and God is being glorified.

Thank you for your continued support.
With God on our side, our resources will serve and advance His Kingdom on earth!
“All the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters covers the sea”
Habb. 2:14 paraphrased
We are honored to have you on our team. It has made a big difference. Together we see results. Together, we reap harvests of seeds sown. God is faithful and committed.

Grace and Richards Akonam
